me analogue sunshine

why hello thar. I live in Brisbane for some reason [still] and I love indie music, good art, classic literature, my dear little cat, strong drink, fresh coffee, rock and roll and all the cultural entrapments that entails, and a good mix of antisocialite moodiness and hipster posturing. I also enjoy long walks on the beach and dinner by candlelight and indulging my need to speak in threadbare clichés in order to avoid having to write about myself here. Also, I occasionally write fiction/poetry for some bizarre and soul-destroying reason and my academic background in is philosophy [mainly continental].
thedailywhat: Where Are They Now of the Day: Former Smashing Pumpkins bassist D’arcy Wretzky was recently charged with “Animals Running at Large” after several horses from her farm broke free. She was ordered to pay a fine, but never did, and subsequently failed to meet four separate court dates, leading to her arrest this past Tuesday. Her release is scheduled for Valentine’s Day.
